Jiaxin Zhao studies how light interacts with low-dimensional materials, with a focus on exciton–polaritons at room temperature, nonlinear dynamics, and spin and valley physics.
She received her Ph.D. in Physics from Nanyang Technological University and was awarded the NTU Presidential Postdoctoral Fellowship and the Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-financed Students Abroad.
